10-Step Guide To Dealing With Examinations In The Hall

A mere KITTO KATSU to all.
Examinations are coming, came, or 'IDONTHAVEFREAKINGEXAMSHAHAYOULOSERS!'
Feeling dazed and confused? Fret not! The Merelion is offering a simple 10-step guide to dealing with examinations stress, during the exam itself!

1. Finger stretching
Well, you warm-up before playing sports, why not warm-up before doing examinations? Stretching your fingers would help your fingers to deal with the stress and tensions of writing continuously. It only takes 5 minutes for you to warm-up, and double the time if you keep taking short breaks during the paper.
2. Bring a stress-ball
The stress ball is a widely overlooked item. It can help you vent the stress you're facing, as well as improve blood circulation. I did my exams better each time i have a stress-ball with me.
3. Chew [insertitemnamehere]
Chewing is another brilliant way to release stress. Preferably gum or mentos mints, pens not recommended.
4. Think of a funny moment
A funny or hilarious moment would always trigger that calmness inside you. It may be stupid to be laughing during an examination by yourself, but it's so hard not to think of that fat girl in pajamas falling down during camp.
5. Wiggle your toes
At times i will wiggle my toes, just for the fun of it. It distracts me from the exam stress. Take out your shoes if you can, meaning only if you don't have stinky feet.
6. Bring an electronic fan
If you're unlucky enough to be part of the majority in the center, a mini-fan would greatly help your comfort level! You could use it when you feel warm, and just make it's not too loud.
7. Attach a toy to your pencil-case/box
A toy could help you when your mind just refuses to work under those conditions. It could distract you for the time being while you search for the answer to cos 2X + tan6X.
8. Use pens that can attach themselves to others
This is similar to the above tip, but it functions as your pen as well! Conjure airplanes and rockets, having fun flying them around!
9. Sing
The power of the vocal chords! Sing softly to yourself when you're bored, and it'll help pass the time while keeping yourself entertained. A louder tone is recommended, only if you have a nice voice.
10. Talk to yourself
Sometimes your greatest friend is... really yourself. Though people may think you're crazy or something, it's a great war to relief stress, as well as tension on your jaws which you squeezed when stressed.
