Tapping Out

Imagine this: It's early in the morning. You are on the way to school. After a long ride, you thought finally you could get the hell out of the bus. Away from those bloody techno songs those a-holes play full blast with their handphone speakers. Away from the auntie who refuses to move in. Away from the bus driver who drives so slow, and scolding nobody for not moving in. You thought you will be free... any other sound will make you lose your head. Just one more step to freedom, until you hear a familiar sound. Teh-tet. BLOODY STUDENT'S EZ-LINK!

I do not understand why students bother to tap out. Obviously they do not understand the meaning of flat-rate. Students enjoy a flat-rate of $0.45 [that's 45 cents]. Meaning that no matter where you stop, you will pay $0.45. There are no such thing as 'pay double' if you don't tap out, despite what others say. Check your card at the GTM. It'll state '$0.45' no doubt, I gurantee you. So, please save everyone's time and patience by NOT tapping out. If a person takes an extra 3 seconds to wait for the machine to 'teh-tet' while tapping out, imagine how much time can be saved by not doing so. Maybe for once you'll not be so late for school! Now, instead of blaming the bus drivers for being late, you can put the blame on those students who insist on tapping out. It's redundant really.

PS: I assure you full refund if you really do need to play double if you did not tap out.
PPS: This only applies for normal SBS transit buses, not Express, Nightrider or any other weird services.
PPPS: The flat-rate applies to only students.

Merely.
