It's official... Singapore is in recession...
The Merelion spoke too soon. Just few weeks ago I said it's great to be in SG in the Mere Rant. It doesn't seem so great now..
We've seen the effects of the Great Depression, Black Monday and the Asian Financial Crisis. It seems the world cannot go a century without facing turmoils. A peaceful society can never exist..
Be prepared to feel the effects, even if we are not caring now. It will take months to recover, which means months of hardship.

The New Paper should be fined for causing a stir among the public, raising doubt and suspicion. Is it really necessary to doubt the state's democracy, question whether we are ready for a non-Chinese PM?
