neighbourly unfriendly

ahhh. neighbours. the girl/boy next door, literally. add to the list aunties,ah peks,grannies, grandpas and all kinds of titles that is part of a 'family'. i just read the local tabloid, the new paper, (yes it is a tabloid, not a newspaper. straits times is a newspaper) on an article about neighbours fighting. complaining about a massage chair? that's perfectly reasonable. even if the person is living one floor above you. don't you know you're disrupting your neighbour's peace when you switch on the television? yes, you are also disrupting his peace when you walk around. or breathe for that matter. you are invading his 'air'. i do not understand why neighbours cannot get along, usually. i mean, i had a great neighbour at my previous house. okay maybe just for the fact that she's hot. and kind. and... whoa. i don't hear myself complaining when she waters her plants. heck i'm not even complaining that she has no plants! neighbours should all get along for a more peaceful singapore. who knows, when neighbours get along even global warming will stop!

in other news, the asian idol is on! themerelion will support singapore's representative, taufik hady, even when he has no hypothetic chance of winning.
