Conspiracy Theories

With the escape of the most wanted terrorist in Singapore unveiled, one has to wonder whether his escape, and not how his escaped, is all the truth. The method of his escaped inquired by the COI has raised doubts over the WRDC complex. From the folding door, to the ledge, to the window, to the sawn-off handle, to the flat roof near the fences... everything seems too easy. Thus here, at The Merelion, i am not going to explore how he escaped, rather I'm going to whether he did escape in the first place. Three conspiracy theories, one may be the truth. On a scale of '?', five being the most believable theory, how believable are the theories?

1. Mas Selamat Kastari was released

The most dubious of all three conspiracy theories. Among the coffee shop apek's, they say that he was released and implemented with a tracking device or something like that. Of course we all know that MSK was influential (he was popular with the guards until he could close the folding door fully, out of sight). Maybe the SG government had a tracker on him, secretly releasing him and labelling it as an 'escape'. In other words, SG let him escape on purpose. It is quite possible, as the escape route is quite unbelievable and simple. How could the WRDC be so flawed?

????

2. Mas Selamat has black magic

Discussed among various ethnic groups, this is one conspiracy theory that is hard to believe. As we all know, Singapore's racial groups are well-known to be superstitious(?) and still relate to 'traditional' medicines to heal ailments. However, here at TML, we are realistic. What are the odds of him vanishing in the toilet? Did he flush himself down the bowl? Or did he turn himself into water and went down the sink? (The tap was on. Maybe it was never the 'tap' that's on.) I say absolutely zero.

?

3. Mas Selamat Kastari is dead

Nobody really knows what goes on in WRDC. This conspiracy theory is popular with knowledgable people, i've heard business guys in suits and ties talking about it at a kopitiam in Bras Basah. They say that his escape was just a cover-up, in fear of a retaliation from terrorists splinter cell. Countless tortures may have happened in the WRDC, and MSK may not be much of a man to take them (he's only 1.5m!)

???

With three popular conspiracy theories, nobody really knew whether Mas Selamat has escaped. Of course here Merel believes it's the first reason. However none can be so sure since he was never captured, or 'captured'. Maybe Singapore is just waiting until the tracker moves to 'The Base' or something and inform the UN, sparking a mass capture of terrorists. Singapore will then be the hero of sorts, and the main target of splinter cells. Nobody knows for sure, the truth, is with MSK.

PS: Anybody knows the actual purpose of the PM to defend his ministers in his speech?

Merely.
