It seems most neighbourhood schools are having trouble, lots of it.
The Head Prefect is a mere figurehead, schools are run by the jockarchy, teachers are powerless.. the list goes on.
The caste system in Singapore is smaller than in America, as I've mentioned before.
It's time for students to be given proper power! Yes, I call for schools to allow the elections of a President!
The Head Prefect ideally should be the President, though the H.P. is usually under teachers. We students need a proper leader, a REAL student leader, not just any H.P.!
Together with the H.P., the school will be run mostly by these two. Trust me, those people form only a minority, they create an illusion that they have the numbers game. In sad reality, the other students can at any time force them out easily.
Stamp out those students who spread their attitude like 'HIV'. There is no cure once it becomes 'AIDS'. The force is in the students, it's about time we wipe them all out once and for all.

The New Paper should be fined for causing a stir among the public, raising doubt and suspicion. Is it really necessary to doubt the state's democracy, question whether we are ready for a non-Chinese PM?
