My Youth Day Appeal

A mere happy Youth Day to all.. well.. Youths in SG.

Every year, we tend to get the same appeal: To help the less fortunate people out there. To me, we need something more. A stronger appeal for the less fortunate people, NOT in terms of their physical well-being.

My appeal is that Youths in SG need to step up and break away from all the cock and bull some are doing. The influence, the negative one, will always be around. We Youths should hand-in-hand fight against these influence, for the sake of our own age group. Basically, I'm real tired of watching people, some your own friends, turning to the 'dark side' and there's nothing I could do as the influence had overwhelmed them. The influence is like... amoeba. It duplicates and duplicates and will NEVER stop. The only cure is from us.

The government can only do so much with the law. They cannot arrest anyone out there who just seems to be trouble. For me, family can only do so much as most Youths are closer to their friends. It's the influence, coming from the friends. We Youths have the option to stop the influence. We Youths can help, and prevent our friends from turning for the worse. Finally, We Youths must stop the influence.

My appeal goes out to all Youths out there. Stop the influence now.
