En Bloc Teevee Series

A Mere pleasant night to all. Just appx 3h ago or so, i watched, for the first time, the En Bloc series on Channel 5. (Support local productions!) At first i thought it would another one of those 'Growing Up' wannabes. However, after a few commercial breaks or so, I began to realise it's not a 'Growing Up' wannabe, but similar instead. Both has the element of suspense, and not to forget the ever-present dramatic soundtrack.

En Bloc has all the makings of a good series, a family-oriented struggle, coupled with loyalty and even a tinge of scandal, 'Desperate-Housewivesque' The usage of flashbacks and sad looks on the casts' faces will always quieten the mood at home, and the occasianal lust may kick in at the right moment. Even the romantic sounds of 'ohhh, that's so sweet!' can happen! And no i'm not referring to the 'lust' parts. I'm referring to extremely romantic moments like proposing!

In all, I would like to catch more of this series, but it really impressed me at first. Finally, a non-comedy series that is worth to watch. For me, 'Growing Up' had set a milestone, and En Bloc cannot be too far away.

PS: Growing Up was a series in the 1990s. Yes, it's so good, even i could remember it.
PPS: After almost two months of searching for the Paddleball in SG (and Kukup one day), my findings have been fruitless. Damn.

Merely.
